Overbuilt & Overbought?: Current Trends in Data Center Provisioning

Sentinel’s Co-Founder Josh Rabina presented his keynote presentation “Overbuilt & Overbought” at NANOG 65 in Montreal, Canada. The presentation touched upon on the current data center trends as they relate to multi-tier deployments and how overprovisioning has become one of single largest cost factors impacting the industry today.

In addition to Rabina’s presentation, the Data Center Track built on a number of important data center themes, including the exploration of the evolving role of the data center owner, the new hydro opportunities for data centers, the growing Quebec data center market and the internationalization of Open-IX.
